Halloween tea time and Bindlegrim vintage-style Spooklights lantern
- May 29, 2014
-- Bindlegrim announces the release of the Spooklights
series - a line of Halloween decor items offering vintage appearance with flexible display options. The news corresponds with the grand opening of the Bindlegoods website stocking past and present works by the award-winning holiday artist working in such multi-media formats as books, bobbles, and early 20th-century style paper decorations.
Expanding on the popularity of previously released 12-sided lanterns, the artist says he wanted to create new forms with improved stability, as well as greater access for fans who found the limited editions difficult to obtain. The result is an authentic diecut (a method popular in vintage products) that combines complexity and elegance together with a set price (although productions runs may likely remain somewhat small as dies and stock allow).
The first couple of products released on http://bindlegoods.bindlegrim.com
includes a sturdy four-sided lamp shades (to cover existing pendant lighting) and a silhouette cande holder (that may join with the shade creating a table lamp configuration)
. And while supplies last, initial orders ship with a commemorative Spooklights postcard set featuring the first pane images used on the Spooklights products - four iconic protraits featuring an antique German-style Jack O'Lantern pumpkin held by a black cat, a green witch, a red devil, or a tattered scarecrow.
New designs that expand the website offerings are in pre-production, and prototypes can be seen on Bindlegoods, while the latest design updates are best seen on the Bindlegrim facebook fan page: https://www.facebook.com/bindlegrim
