First-Time Author Patty Kinkead Publishes Children’s Book Focusing on Serious Topic

Children's book is a story rooted in serious topics with moral and political connections
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - May 28, 2014 - PRLog -- What’s Right is a story rooted in serious topics with moral and political connections. Taken from today’s headlines, this lighthearted and entertaining children’s story tackles the topic of choices and how decisions affect the future of everyone. Throughout the story, the main character learns the value of hard work, an appreciation of what others have earned, and how actions have consequences.

Prompted by her love of her country and her concern for the success of its future generations , Kinkead created her main character. Stumpy the squirrel is faced with doing what is right or what is wrong, depending on your viewpoint.  He comes to the realization that expecting handouts is wrong and working hard is right.

“Because of my personal faith in God and in this country, I was compelled to write this book. I wanted to do my part in expressing what I feel is right and what is wrong. Not everyone will agree with me or my views,“ said Kinkead, “but my goal is to share my message because I feel it is an important message for our children.”
