Denver, CO- On Friday, June 6, 5-10pm, John Fielder’s Colorado and Denver Photo Art Gallery celebrates the beauty of shapes, colors and structure with their newest exclusive 2-month exhibit called “A Pilot’s Perspective”
by Mitch Bowers of ImageWex. This awesome exhibit of 14 large scale photographs, including 2 very large panoramics, are taken entirely from the skies of the Western US and feature the intriguing similarities between patterns in nature and man-made structures.
About the artist: Professional photographer and commercial pilot,
Mitch Bowers found his passion for photography in a high school elective class. Mitch’
s mission to be a pilot came years later after what he describes as a “calling” to fly. “Being only a few thousand feet above the ground offers a unique point of view that many may never experience. I want to bring them this perspective through my work.” Mitch’
s imagery offers the viewer an opportunity to experience the way light curves over landscape, creating shadows and depth that can only be appreciated from a bird’s eye view. “Often it’s when I’m flying a commissioned project that I discover the depth of Colorado’s landscape simply by looking just a little bit closer”.
Mitch’s work doesn’t discriminate;
through his eyes and his lens you will experience nature’s destruction, man’s construction, and God’s creation. Mitch invites you to view the world from “A Pilot’s Perspective”
.
All exhibit prints will be for sale. Exhibit runs June 6-July 26, 2014. Exhibit is open to the public and is free admission. Gallery is open Tues-Sat, 9-5pm.
