SingEx Strengthens Events Business with Key Hires
SingEx Holdings, Singapore’s homegrown MICE venue management and business events company, is strengthening its trade events business with key additions to its management team.
A key addition to the management team is Germaine Lim, who has been appointed as Director in CEO’s Office, SingEx Holdings. She will be responsible for establishing and driving sales and sponsorship infrastructure for SingEx’s portfolio of trade events. Her vast experience in sales and marketing in the retail, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), human resource, travel and hospitality industries will prove pivotal in finessing the sales function and driving the growth of trade events under SingEx Exhibitions.
Joining SingEx Exhibitions as Director (Projects Management) is Adrian Sng. He will oversee the project teams in transformational industries such as commodities, e-commerce, logistics and information technology clusters, as well as to spearhead efforts in establishing SingEx’s footprint in trade events across key markets. With more than a decade’s experience in the MICE industry, and having created and managed trade exhibitions and conferences in multiple cities previously with Koelnmesse, Adrian will play a critical role in helping SingEx grow its portfolio of trade events within the region.
Another addition to SingEx Exhibtions is Gwen Ng, who assumes the post of Deputy Director (Projects Management). Prior to joining SingEx, Gwen led the project management and marketing communications team at UBM Asia and played a vital role in organising tradeshows and conferences in the US, Europe, China and Southeast Asia. Gwen has also worked with global partners to grow existing tradeshows and develop new businesses. Her extensive experience and network will help SingEx Exhibitions forge strategic links and grow SingEx’s staple of trade events.
Over the last few years, SingEx has collaborated with local and international partners to launch new trade events in Singapore, across leading industries such as healthcare, information technology and urban solutions to tap into the burgeoning South-east Asian region and other key markets. These events include RehabTech Asia, an event on assistive technology, integrated care and rehabilitation engineering;
SingEx also acquired ECI International, the UK company behind the Tyrexpo series of exhibitions held in Singapore, India, South Africa and the United Kingdom. In the coming months, SingEx will continue to launch market-relevant trade events and expand its events portfolio in key regions using Singapore as its hub.
