The Advancing Investments & Trade in Africa ("AITA") To Launch Chapter in Ghana

May 28, 2014 - PRLog -- The Advancing Investments & Trade in Africa (“AITA") announces the official launch of its Ghana Chapter.  The Chapter Launch Ceremony will be held on May 29, 2014 at the Alisa Hotel, Accra, Ghana.

The Ghana Chapter will celebrate the special occasion with keynote speaker, the Minister for Trade and Industry, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, addressing the audience.  In attendance will be a diverse audience including various government representatives, business professionals, nonprofit professionals, lawyers, investment, and banking professionals in the African business community.

“The purpose of the Ghana Chapter launch is to underscore the critical role played by civil society, including business professionals, in advancing sustainable economic development in Africa.  Our objective is to increase collaboration between AITA Ghana members and other members located in Nigeria, United States, Canada, France and elsewhere,” said Mrs. Adjoa Linzy, Founder of AITA.  Mrs. Linzy also notes that, “Ghana’s economy has maintained an average annual growth of approximately 6.0% over the past six years.  AITA’s Ghana Chapter launch is therefore auspicious in playing a critical role in providing educational, networking, and professional development growth opportunities to its members.”

The official sponsor of the launch event is Ramel International Group.  According the CEO of Ramel International Group, Mr. Amartey Nuno-Amarteifio, “we are excited about the upcoming launch of AITA in Ghana and we believe that the launch will help create more opportunities for increased trade between North America and Ghana.  This is very timely as our economy needs the boost which can be driven by increased trade relations across Ghana by the AITA members.”
