The new certification will become part of the company's many food safety certification programs, and this program will be offered to all businesses that market gluten-free products. The Gluten-Free Certification Program is the only program in the country recognized and backed by the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness.

According to Markets & Markets, May 2013, the United States is home to the fastest-growing gluten-free market in the world. In addition, the Food and Drug Administration is requiring all products declared gluten-free to meet specific standards by August 2014.
