New Motor Club Introduces Roadside Assistance Gift Cards
Drive Roadside Launches "Drive Gift Cards" a New Coverage Option for Drivers
“We realized that there are many people who want the security of knowing they have roadside coverage while driving, but don’t want the annual commitment that is generally required by traditional roadside assistance programs,” says Ryan Wells, CEO of Drive Roadside, “by allowing people reasonable alternatives, we can help those who normally wouldn’t have ERS coverage – get protected."
After surveying more than 1,000 people regarding their experiences with roadside assistance companies and plans, Drive Roadside recognized an opportunity in the marketplace to provide people with an alternative option to traditional roadside programs that makes obtaining ERS coverage more affordable and convenient. Furthermore, Drive Gift Cards will help ERS coverage to become more widely available through the use of an easy-to-navigate website, as a gift card available in popular stores and convenient stores, and as a protection plan offered at many used-car dealerships for the purchase of vehicles.
“Although our traditional Family Assurance Plan is extremely competitive and economical with no cancellation fees,” said Jake Schroader, COO of Drive Roadside, “we recognized that there is value in building a brand that is known for giving customers more liberty to choose the type of ERS coverage they want – Drive Gift Cards give customers that liberty.”
By pioneering a new market and changing the avenues by which customers can purchase ERS coverage, Drive Roadside’s new gift card program is another pathway in which they are stretching innovation of the ERS industry.
“We’re excited for the future of Drive Roadside and the entire driving community,” said Wells, “Drive Gift Cards will open opportunities for our customers and consequentially, our company.”
