Chevrolet to Introduce New Camaro in 2016 | McCarthy Morse Chevrolet

May 27, 2014 - PRLog -- OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS—Chevrolet recently announced that it will introduce the sixth-generation edition of the Chevrolet Camaro in 2016!

2015 will be the final model year for the fifth-generation Camaro, making way for a new breed of the classic car. While details on the next-generation model are not yet available, it is speculated that the 2016 edition will feature GM’s rear-drive Alpha platform, the 3.6-liter V-6 base engine that’s on the current model, and possibly the LT1 6.2-liter V-8 engine that’s currently in the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray for the Camaro SS.

As the 2015 Chevrolet Camaro underwent little change-- just a new paint color offered on the car’s exterior-- the 2016 Camaro could be in for quite a few upgrades, updates and refreshments.
