East End Volleyball is expanding its beach volleyball program in Long Beach to include court and ball rentals. Known since 1977 for running beach volleyball tournaments and leagues, EEVB is now working in conjunction with the City of Long Beach to allow for court rental at the Riverside Beach volleyball courts.

Players can rent the courts for ½ day and full day periods. In addition balls and boundary lines can also be rented making this the perfect site for players who have to travel to the beach on public transportation without room to lug around beach volleyball equipment. To rent a court go to www.eevb.net and click on “Reserve Court”

Players can come down to play and then hang out to watch the weekly doubles tournaments run by EEVB. The tournaments are open to any doubles team and attract players from as far away as Canada and Florida and as close as Long Island. All tournaments are sanctioned by Volley America and award players National Ranking and Grand Prix Points

Based in the East End of Long Island, EEVB has grown into the largest beach volleyball series in the East End of the country with tournaments from Newport, RI to Hollywood, Florida. The highest level in the tournaments, the Open Division, is equivalent to AAA Baseball and funnels players into the Pro Beach Volleyball Tour. Three players in the 2012 London Olympics representing 3 countries (US, Great Britain & Canada) won EEVB tournaments in their careers.
