WALNUT, Calif. - May 26, 2014 - PRLog -- Mt. Sac Alum Success Story & His Professor Featured on TV!

The LaunchPoint Season 1 “U-Turn” episode debuted on May 25, 2014 and showcased Mt. San Antonio College alumna Jacob Tucker and Industrial Design, Engineering and Manufacturing Professor Max Lizarraga!  The episode, “U-Turn,” focuses on how Jake overcame substance abuse, run-ins with the police, and even time in a mental hospital to turn his life around.   Afterward, he enrolled at Mt. Sac in 2007 and began to pull the pieces of his life back together. A member of Mt. Sac’s Class of 2010, Jake earned an Associate of Science degree in Engineering Design Technology (now known as Industrial Design Engineering).  Jake is currently a Project Manager at Ceilings Plus in the city of Commerce.  In 2013, Jake graduated from Cal State Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology and is currently enrolled in graduate level classes.
