Ace Ticket presents: Jonny Gomes charity book signing "Boston Red Sox:Every Picture Tells the Story"
The World Series hero will sign books on Saturday, May 31 at 12:00 noon at Ace Ticket in Kenmore Square with $10 from every book sold being donated to the Travis Roy Foundation.
Red Sox fans who buy books at the event will have the opportunity to meet Jonny Gomes, and $10 from every book sold will be donated to the Travis Roy Foundation.
"I am fired up to get out there and meet the people of Red Sox Nation and raise money for a local charity by signing copies of this incredible book," says Gomes, who wrote the Foreword. "No other book captures the spirit of what we, as a team and a city, achieved together, and the opportunity to both share that with the best fans in the world and to support the Travis Roy Foundation is something I am proud of and looking forward to."
The book is published by Skybox Press, which also published the Boston Bruins official Stanley Cup commemorative Full 60+ to History.
Boston Red Sox: Every Picture Tells the Story is the only commemorative to show and tell the entire story of the Red Sox historic championship season, including the unforgettable victory parade. With more than 200 photographs and original essays by Gomes, Red Sox owner John Henry, manager John Farrell, broadcaster Joe Castiglione, former Mayor Thomas Menino, ESPNBoston's Gordon Edes, acclaimed Boston author Leigh Montville, and Marathon bombing survivor Jeff Bauman, this book stands as the keepsake of record for a season Red Sox fans will forever remember and treasure.
Supplies are limited, so fans who want to guarantee they get a copy of the book signed by Jonny Gomes can pre-order online by visiting: www.RedSoxEvent.com
The event will take place at Ace Ticket in Kenmore Square prior to the Red Sox 7:05 p.m. game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Ace Ticket will be open for regular business during the event.
