Founded by former All-Pro Running Back for Kansas City Chiefs and Azusa Pacific standout, Christian Okoye, the non-profit corporation's primary focus is to educate talented young men and women through sports; honor and recognize the accomplishments and contributions of the men and women who have excelled in their respective areas of sports and sports media in the State of California first, then nationally and internationally.

The State of California has such a rich athletic tradition and there wasn’t a Hall of Fame recognizing the caliber of athletes this state has enjoyed during its history,” Okoye said. “We now have a chance to honor California sports history and every class truly exemplifies excellence!”

One of the missions of California Sports Hall Of Fame is to capture the passion children and young adults have for sports and direct that energy to enhance their educational and personal goals. Through the organization's efforts and resources, the California Sports Hall of Fame will support and promote education and sports among children and young men and women throughout the State of California.

Once at the Foundation's events, the kids are given unparalleled training in sports and, more importantly, are encouraged to develop business and entrepreneurial skills by the Foundation's corporate sponsors.
