What:          Long Island Game Farm Wildlife Park & Children’s Zoo will be celebrating its 45th summer season with the debut of a unique animal show, The One and Only Pekingese Dog Act Featuring Vanna The Baboon — Presented by David Rosaire and the grand opening of Erik’s Reptile Edventure Discovery Center. The show and exclusive reptile center will offer children a new, thrilling way to learn about animals at the Game Farm.

         The One and Only Pekingese Dog Act Featuring Vanna the Baboon — Presented by David Rosaire is a renowned animal show that is not only stimulating, but is also eye-catching, with endless tricks and stunts performed by his dogs! The Pekingese pups put on an elaborate show — full of jumps, slides, and obeying outrageous commands. The show will take place on days that the Game Farm is open at noon and 3 p.m. throughout the duration of the summer.

         Erik’s Reptile Edventure Discovery Center is intended to educate children on exotic amphibians and reptiles, such as snakes, lizards, tarantulas, salamanders, and a variety of insects. Guests will have to opportunity to learn about these mysterious cold-blooded creatures by walking through the brand-new area. In addition, there will be live shows hosted by Erik Callendar, a charismatic reptile enthusiast who has a passion for educating children on the reptile’s lifestyle, on select dates. Children will be able to learn exciting facts about the reptiles and hold them for a hands-on educational experience during these live shows. At the grand opening session at 1 p.m., the reptile center will officially be unveiled with a new sign. Refreshments will be served to all attendees. Erik’s Reptile Edventure Discovery Center will be open throughout the entire summer season for guests to explore and learn about mysterious creatures.

    Long Island Expressway to Exit 70 South (CR 111) to Manorville. Go south on CR 111 for half a mile. Make a right on Chapman Blvd. Go 1.5 miles. Game Farm is on the left.

The Long Island Game Farm (http://www.longislandgamefarm.com/about/) was founded in 1970 by Stanley and Diane Novak and is located on 25 acres of land in Manorville.  The Park has grown over the years and has served as a frequent destination of school children that have grown up on Long Island.  Each year, thousands of guests visit the park.
