Dave Castaldo Releases First Single From His Upcoming Record

STOCKHOLM - May 24, 2014 - PRLog -- — Swedish artist Dave Castaldo is releasing a new single called “Keep On.” The song is available for purchase and streaming in iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Google Play, Rhapsody and Wimp. “Keep on” is part of his upcoming record, Inner Beauty, to be released in September 2014. Faithful to his positive style, the song is a celebration to love for love itself, beyond reciprocity, in his characteristic high tempo power pop stravaganza.

The video for this release was directed by Ossian Gynther, and connects the artist’s new work to his previous EP—Break Out of Silence (2012)—by paying homage to the silent era of films in its opening and closing scenes. These intertextual references to film are an expected feature in Dave Castaldo’s imagery. It is only to wait a few more months to know what comes after the advent of sound, in the hand of his new album.
