No More Extra Fat with Liposuction Surgery
If even after strict dieting and exercise, when you fail to reduce the unwanted body fat, vaser liposuction is the best option. It has replaced the traditional liposuction techniques. It selectively targets the fatty tissues.
At present vaser or ‘Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy’ is one of the most sought after cosmetic surgeries in London. It was introduced in March 2001. However, vaser lipo technique acquired a clearance from Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of United States for body contouring in the year in September 2002.
Vaser liposuction uses high frequency ultrasound waves which targets the adipose cells and breaks them up before melting it down without disturbing and damaging any blood vessels, nerves and surrounding tissue. The liquefied fat is then suctioned out of the body. For women, the most common treated areas include the inner and outer thighs, abdomen, and arms. For men, the most common treated areas include the abdomen, flanks and chest.
A medicated solution is injected into the treated areas of the patient’s body, which facilitates the treatment and constrict down the blood vessels. Therefore it leads to minimal bleeding and bruising. Then, the lasers are used to emulsify the fat cells, turning the stubborn fat into an oily liquid that is easier to be absorbed or removed out of the body with a cannula. The fluid also contains anaesthetic agents, which can minimize pain and discomfort in the post-operative period. And
Vaser lipo is used primarily for body contouring, but it can still be used for higher volume fat removal. It permits the cosmetic surgeon to safely remove up to 2.5 liters at a time. It differs from traditional liposuction method. The latter uses a technique called avulsion, in which surgeons used to insert a slim stainless pipe known as ‘cannula’ into the fat deposits, to suck out the excess fat. This often used to damage the collagen structures and other tissues, causing pain and bruising.
The parts on which this surgery can be performed are face and neck, chin, calves, back, abdomen, buttocks and hips, inner and outer thighs, arms and so on. Even large parts of fat can be treated at a time.
Vaser lipo price starts from £1,990 for one area, £2,990 for two areas, £3,990 for three areas and £4,600 for four areas. Under general anaesthetic, it costs around £3,200 for one area, £4,400 for two areas, £5,600 for three areas, £6,800 for four areas and £8,000 for five areas.
Vaser lipo cost is inclusive of the price of consultation, vaser Liposuction (http://www.harleybodyclinic.co.uk) procedure, clinical photographs, support garment, all follow up visits and applicable taxes. The only extra cost is that of the antibiotics that costs around 10 pounds. In some cases the patient does not need to stay at the hospital overnight, so then the hospital charges is not included.
