Major NHS supplier takes medical furniture products to Africa

May 20, 2014 - PRLog -- Bristol Maid (http://www.bristolmaid.com/) will showcase its eClean products for infection control alongside its range of hospital equipment at Africa Health 2014, the largest healthcare exhibition in the Sub-Saharan Africa.

The show attracts over 5,000 attendees and 400 international companies and will run from 29-31 May in Johannesburg, South Africa. Bristol Maid will be at Stand 2J30.

At the exhibition, Bristol Maid will be showcasing its easy to clean products alongside all of its own medical furniture which includes trolleys, cabinets, couches and various storage solutions.

The eClean range is designed to help hospitals control the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAi) by making hospital furniture easier and quicker to clean and prevent the spread of germs.

An estimated 5,000 people in the UK die each year from infections picked up in hospitals. At any given time, 7% of hospitalised patients in developed countries and 10% in developing countries will contract an HCAi.

Bristol Maid hopes to meet with potential distributors from Africa, Australasia and the Americas, as well as hospital staff working in areas including nursing, infection control and procurement.
