Netball Australia launches diversity campaign to reach new communities around the country
Netball Australia and Australia Post launches their new One Netball campaign today, designed to create social inclusions across the nation.
Developed by TANK in conjunction with Netball Australia, the One Netball brand and integrated communications campaign will work towards building interest in an initiative that will provide targeted education and awareness programs, as well as come-and-try clinics for both existing and new audiences. Ultimately the initiative will provide opportunities for individuals and communities to experience netball in a safe, inclusive and fun environment.
“We are proud to be working on this important project with Netball Australia. The Australian population is one of the most diverse of any nation; a migrant arrives ever 1:29 seconds, the majority of the population identifies with an ancestry other than Australian – not to mention the need to provide an inclusive and safe environment in all sports for the LGBTI, indigenous, disabled and multicultural communities. This project is about positive change – and that hits at the heart of what we do as a business.” said Jim Antonopoulos.
One Netball will implement a variety of initiatives from the grass roots to national level, from the club house to the Australia Netball Diamonds, to make the game of netball more accessible to extend the reach of netball into Australia’s diverse population.
