HM Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire opens Rombourne’s new site

SWINDON, U.K. - May 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire officially opened Rombourne Serviced Offices’ newest site in Swindon on Friday afternoon.  Cutting the ribbon at Kingston House, Mrs Troughton said: “It’s a pleasure to see a thriving business specifically choose Swindon for their newest location, and I wish Rombourne all the best in its endeavours here.”

Other VIP guests included Robert Buckland, MP for South Swindon; Cllr David Renard, Leader of Swindon Borough Council and the Chairman of Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Council, Nicky Alberry.

Cardiff head-quartered Rombourne provides serviced office accommodation throughout Newport, Cardiff and Bristol, and saw Swindon as a key area to invest in.  “We believe Swindon is a town which has great potential for businesses,” said Rombourne’s CEO, Damian Stokes.  “We think that this location, in particular, will be of huge interest to companies needing quick and easy access to the Thames Valley corridor.”

Kingston House is situated in Lydiard Fields, which is next to Junction 16 of the M4.  Rombourne purchased Kingston House at the end of 2013, and immediately started to renovate the 17,000sq ft building. “We’ve redeveloped it so that it’s now a prestigious, 5-star business centre; offering up to 190 workstations in a range of 3 to 25 person offices,” said Mr Stokes.

The building is Grade A, rated as ‘BREEAM Very Good’, and fully air conditioned.  It also has high speed broadband access, allowing Rombourne to offer tenants flexible IT and telephony services.

Such is the level of interest, Rombourne has already welcomed its first client into Kingston House.  Digital marketing company Silicon Practice moved in during April, before the building was officially opened.  “It’s an ideal location for us,” said Dr Steve Treadwell, Director of Silicon Practice.  “Plus the benefits of being in a serviced office are very important to us.  Being here means we don’t need to worry about leases, maintenance, cleaning or security – Rombourne deal with all of that.  We can just get on with running our business.”
