Jennifer’s Boutique Collecting Canned Goods for Community Cooperative in June
Shoppers will receive 20% off their purchase with a donation
“The summer months can be extremely difficult for families who can’t rely on the schools to feed their children. 70% of students qualify for free or reduced breakfasts and lunches during the school year,” said Stacey Cannington, Community Relations Coordinator for Community Cooperative. “Community Cooperative expands efforts during the summer to help ensure these children don’t go hungry.”
“Community Cooperative is a wonderful grassroots organization doing their part to end hunger in Southwest Florida,” said Jennifer Williams, owner of Jennifer’s. “It is an honor to partner with them and support their mission.”
Suggested donation items include peanut butter and jelly, canned tuna, chicken, ham and beef, beans (all varieties), pasta and pasta sauce, rice (family size bags), cereal, hamburger, tuna and chicken helper, canned fruit and vegetables, macaroni and cheese and canned milk.
