Alto Steps by Liza Phillips Design is a handmade rug for every step.
Alto Steps are not just fun and attractive rugs, but they serve an even greater purpose, they are a modular rug solution for stairs. Ideal for preventing slipping, Alto Steps soften the noise, show off the woodwork, and can be easily arranged in any sequence.
They are available in two sizes to fit most typical stairways, but custom sizes and shapes may also be ordered.
Hand knotted in Nepal with the finest wool, silk, and other natural fibers, Alto Steps are extremely durable and made to last. They are easy to clean and maintain, but should it ever become necessary, individual steps can simply be replaced.

ABOUT LIZA PHILLIPS DESIGN:
Liza Phillips was born in Washington, DC. An artist since childhood, she earned degrees in Art History and Fine Art, and has exhibited her artwork extensively in the US and London. She started designing rugs in 2002 and formed her company, Liza Phillips Design, in 2005. Liza is a member of GoodWeave, insuring that no child labor is used in the production of her rugs, and that a percentage of her profits goes to GoodWeave schools in Nepal and India.
