TVS Global Media Sets Teams For the NABL Summer League TV Series in California City

Former Cal St. Northridge Basketball Star Raymond Cody has been added to the San Diego Neptunes roster for the NABL Western Conference Summer Showcase.
CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. - May 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Former Cal St. Northridge guard Raymond Cody has been added to the San Diego Neptunes NABL squad for the June-July NABL Western Conference Summer Showcase. Cody is a 6-5 off guard who will look to land a spot with a FIBA International team as a result of playing in the NABL.

The San Diego Neptunes are coached by former FIBA player and Akron Wingfoots (NABL Central) player and coach Steven Hodge. Hodge used similar circumstances to parlay an outstanding NABL season several years ago into a FIBA pro basketball career in England, Finland, and Mexico.

"I am very pleased to be able to add Ray Cody to the San Diego Neptunes," said Coach Hodge. "Ray has character, a high IQ, a great work ethic, and world class talent. He's go a great chance at using the NABL Summer Showcase to get his opportunity."

The San Diego Neptunes, the Orange County Ramblers, the California City Dust Devils, and the Seattle Bakers will all play in the NABL Western Conference Summer Showcase on each Friday night in June and July. Each Friday evening will feature a doubleheader with all four teams competing.The NABL Summer Showcase will be played in California City, which is equal distance between Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

The TVS Television Network will televise all games, which will be distributed internationally so that all FIBA teams around the world can scout these players. TVS is a pioneer in basketball television coverage, having covered thousands of NCAA basketball games from 1960 to 1990.

The team rosters are currently being finalized. Information on the NABL can be found on Facebook under NABL Basketball and on TVS Events.Com. The NABL hs sent more than 50 players to FIBA pro careers in recent years and has maany active players and coaches among it's alumni round the world.

NABL players are generally recently graduated NCAA D1, D2 and D3, plus NAIA stars.
