Yakitori Boy set to host Brent Celek’s “Take Flight” Foundation June 19th, 2014

PHILADELPHIA - May 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Yakitori Boy will host a night of entertainment, great food and fundraising to benefit Brent Celek’s “Take Flight” foundation. Along with raffles and a silent auction, Yakitori Boy will also be creating a sushi roll named after Celek, the “Brent Celek Roll” will become a permanent item on the menu and a portion of all future orders will be donated to the foundation. The charity event will be held Thursday, June 19^th 2014 from 6pm to 9pm at Yakitori Boy’s upstairs “Japas Lounge”.

This is the second Philadelphia Sports Charity roll created by Yakitori Boy.  The first was for Philadelphia Philles player Jimmy Rollins, for his Rollins Family Foundation.  The Jimmy Roll has been a best seller on the menu for over 3 years and has continued to raise money for the foundation. “We are very excited to be adding another ‘PHILanthropy Roll’ to our menu”, says  Jin Shen, partner at Yakitori Boy.  “We have had many successes since we opened and it is wonderful to give back.  Brent is a great guy who's charity does good work.  We are happy to partner with him.  He is also a great karaoker so this night should be a great celebration!”

The “Take Flight” Foundation was established in 2010 by Philadelphia Eagles’ tight end, Brent Celek. The mission of The “Take Flight” Foundation is to provide opportunities, support and resources to children and families in need. The foundation primary focus is to provide seriously ill and physically challenged children throughout Greater Philadelphia with daily support and life-changing experiences.

Guests are invited to Yakitori Boy to enjoy cocktails, have some light bites and sing karaoke all while giving back to a great cause. The fundraiser will be from 6 to 9 pm on Thursday June 19^th.
