SAN MATEO, Calif. - May 14, 2014 - PRLog -- The Newspaper Association of America recently released a report about newspaper revenues in 2013 and one part of that report showed an 8.6% decline in newspaper advertising revenue in 2013 from the previous year.

Here is a link to an article about that report.

http://www.naa.org/Trends-and-Numbers/Newspaper-Revenue/Newspaper-Media-Industry-Revenue-Profile-2013.aspx

In the report on that web page, it shows that:

“Advertising in the traditional printed daily and Sunday newspaper decreased 8.6% in 2013 from the previous year. Retail advertising dropped 8%, with national advertising also declining by 8%. Classified advertising was off 10.5%.”

SO, HOW CAN NEWSPAPERS AND MULTI-MEDIA COMPANIES START INCREASING THEIR ADVERTISING REVENUE, QUICKLY AND SUBSTANTIALLY?

In addition to the obvious answer of increasing their advertising
about the virtues of advertising in their own media, they can also
take a look at several proposals that were developed by an advertising
agency called R.M. Barrows Advertising and Public Relations in San
Mateo, California.

Barrows has developed proposals for several new and unique projects that could generate tremendous advertising revenues on an ongoing basis for newspaper companies, broadcasting companies and internet based media companies.

In addition, each of these proposals is also designed to be extremely easy to produce, easy to sell, and extremely easy to put into action very quickly.

“Media companies might want to take a look at all or some of these proposals for projects that could help them generate a lot more advertising revenue very quickly, says Barrows, and each of these projects could be done in large and small media, all over the world.”

*All six of these proposals could generate tremendous revenues for large and small newspaper companies.

*Four of these proposals could generate tremendous advertising revenues for television and radio companies.

*Three of these proposals could generate tremendous revenues for internet media companies and the internet divisions of media companies.

*One of these proposals could generate tremendous revenues for both newspaper companies and book publishing companies that publish things like cookbooks, nature books and how-to books.

*And one of these proposals could also generate tremendous advertising revenues during the weeks preceding celebrations like Halloween and Valentine’s Day.

Media companies that would be interested in taking a look at these proposals should contact Robert Barrows at R.M. Barrows, Inc. Advertising and Public Relations at 650-344-4405.
