6th CultureInvest Congress, October 30th and 31st, Berlin
France becomes the first partner country of the largest European industry meeting for cultural organisations and culture investors.
Global economic and social developments present a huge challenge for cultural policy-makers, cultural organisations and cooperation partners. The establishment of business management and marketing practice within public and private cultural organisations, the assumption of cultural responsibility by businesses and cultural-political rethinking has opened new development perspectives for the synergies between culture, business, the public purse and media.
“The CultureInvest Congress has been bringing business and culture together since 2009,” said Dr. Heike Kramer, Director of the Department for Social and Cultural Commitment and Event Management of the German Savings Banks Association (DSGV). “As the largest non-public cultural promoter in Germany, motivating further businesses in Germany to support art and culture is a special cause for us, and as a result we are delighted to be premium partners for the CultureInvest Congress.”
The Tagesspiegel supports discussions right across the European culture business and is opening its publishing buildings at Askanischer Platz to all participants of the Congress. Those participants include directors and artistic directors as well as marketing and sponsorship administrators from cultural institutions and booster clubs, and decision-makers and representatives from public relations, marketing and sponsorship in private businesses.
The organisers of the CultureInvest Congress are Causales – Cultural Marketing and Cultural Sponsorship Ltd. Thanks to countless supporters and premium partners, such as the DSGV, The Tagesspiegel and the Mövenpick Hotel, and subject partners RWE Foundation, Goethe Institute, Institut français Deutschland, Verhülsdonk, Die Draussenwerber, SPIE, kulturpersonal und THE HMKW Media, Communication and Business Academy, the range of topics has been greatly extended from the previous year. The Mövenpick Hotel Berlin is offering accommodation right by the venue for Congress participants, while Deutsche Bahn has arranged a special Congress ticket for those travelling to the Congress.
