Shyamal & Bhumika’s new Bridal Collection revealed in the Lakme Fashion Week 2014

May 14, 2014 - PRLog -- One of the most loved fashion designers duo of the country, Shyamal & Bhumika have again proved their unique artisan and embroidery skills with the launch of their new Bridal Collection at the 2014 Lakme Fashion Week held in March.

The designers, known for using variant artisan techniques based on the art and heritage belonging to the various states of the country, usually focus more on designing traditional and indo-western outfits with unique borders and designs. The designer duo is decked up with a series of events coming up ahead in the year. When asked about their upcoming events in an interview with WomenPlanet, the duo stated that they have a US Tour in the month of May, followed by an opening in Mumbai, the launch of their latest bridal Line and finally the Fashion Week.

Shyamal & Bhumika, the label has been named as India’s most loved Indian wear label, especially when it comes to wearing the beautiful nine yards saree, indo-western outfits and lehengas. Their collection is seen being adored widely by celebrities who love wearing exclusive traditional outfits. Naming a few, the designers stated that Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan was recently seen wearing one of their collections in a major campaign. Similarly, yester year actress and Dreamgirl, Hema Malini had worn one of their designer sarees at the Colors People’s Choice Awards.

In the interview with WomenPlanet, the designers also gave some important designer tips to all fashion lovers who are planning to tie the Knot sometime in the future. They stated that wearing a traditional outfit such as saree or a lehenga would be perfect for the wedding day, while choosing an indo-western outfit during the engagement and a Kalidaar for the sangeet or Mehndi would be ideal. Wearing a floor length traditional gown for the reception would make you look perfectly gorgeous. They also mentioned the must have clothes in a woman’s closet which should never be missed out.

The designers, now off to their US Tour will soon be launching their next Bridal line later in the year.
