LPGA Foundation Partners with US Golf Camps
US Golf Camps hosts junior golfers from all over the United States as well as 30 other countries. They will offer two scholarships to current LPGA-USGA Girls Golf members. In addition, a discount of $100/week to the camp will be available to all members.
The only initiative of its kind, Girls Golf is administered through a partnership between The LPGA Foundation and the USGA. Girls Golf has grown to over 280 sites across the United States with over 40,000 girls, ages 7-17, expected to participate in 2014.
According to Frank Mantua, US Golf Camps’ Director of Golf & Master Kids Teacher, “We are pleased to partner with the LPGA Foundation to provide a unique opportunity for a couple of girls golf members. Our hope is that, together with the LPGA Foundation, we can expand the opportunities for girls in future years.”
Kiernan Schindler, Director, LPGA Foundation, is excited about the partnership with US Golf Camps. “This is a great opportunity for our girls to attend a premier junior golf camp and hopefully encourage additional participation in our Girls Golf Program.”
