Affordable Closets Plus Dressing Lounge Featured at Mansion in May

FRENCHTOWN, N.J. - May 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Affordable Closets Plus (ACP), with offices in Frenchtown, NJ, and Bangor, PA, is once again among the prestigious designers and landscapers featured at this year’s Mansion in May Designer Showhouse and Gardens in Peapack/Gladstone, NJ. The more than 25,000 visitors expected to attend the month-long event at Blairsden -- a country home of New York City financier C. Ledyard Blair -- will see ACP’s stunning transformation of what was once Mrs. Blairsden’s bedroom into a Formal Dressing Lounge.

Angel Martin, who owns Affordable Closets Plus with her husband, DeVoe Martin, describes this year’s Mansion in May exhibit as “a dressing lounge for the gala enthusiasts to get dressed in formal attire.” The lounge includes detailed crown and trim moldings, a banquette for seating in front of a cozy fireplace with ample wardrobes for storage and pull-out cabinets for bowties, ties, jewelry, evening handbags and treasures.

A magnificent 62,000-square-foot Louis XIV chateau-style mansion, Blairsden was constructed between 1897 and 1903 and has, for the past three months, been painstakingly transformed into a designer’s fantasy by more than 50 talented interior and landscape designers. Raising more than $8 million since 1974, the Mansion in May event is the annual fundraiser of the Women's Association of Morristown Medical Center. Proceeds this year will be directed toward the expansion of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and a new Autism Center at Goreyeb Children’s Hospital at Morristown Medical Center.
