MIDDLETOWN, N.J. - May 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe is known not only for their homemade chocolate, but also for their generosity and the way they give back to their community.  And this spring has been very busy for the award winning chocolate shop that has, and will be, participating in several charity events around Monmouth County. Last month Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe was at the Red Bank Rotary Club’s 14th Annual Two Rivers Food & Wine Tasting, which benefitted the Boys and Girls Clubs of Monmouth County.  Also, today is the 15th Annual Gourmet Food & Wine Tasting for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monmouth & Middlesex Counties, which will feature custom party favors provided by Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe.  This event will be held tonight starting at 6:30PM at Buona Sera in Red Bank.  According to Susan Hordych, owner of Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe, “Being part of the Monmouth County community has always been a source of pride for us.  We like to participate in a variety of charity events and are always looking for ways to give back.”

In addition to the events this week, Suzi’s will be participating in the 2nd Annual Garden Tea Party to benefit the Ronald McDonald House on Sunday, May 18th.  “Ronald McDonald House is another charity that is near and dear to us at Suzi’s.  It provides support to families caring for seriously ill children and it is our pleasure to be able to provide chocolate favors to all of the guests.  This event is being held at Ronald McDonald House in Long Branch and we are looking forward to seeing all of our customers support this cause with us,” continues Susan.  This charity event will feature fine brewed teas, finger sandwiches and a gift basket auction.  Click here http://www.rmh-cnj.org/ for more information on the 2nd Annual Garden Tea Party for Ronald McDonald House.

With so many charity events this spring, Suzi’s wants to remind everyone to get their tickets or register early to ensure a place at each event.  To learn more about Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe visit their website at www.suzisweetshoppe.com or stop in anytime at the store in Middletown to select from a variety of homemade chocolates, hand dipped treats, caramel apples and fudge.  They also provide a variety of customized gift baskets for all occasions and corporate gift giving.
