Navarro Discount Pharmacy Launches New Mobile Health Station

MIAMI - May 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Miami, FL – May 13, 2014 - Navarro Discount Pharmacy, the largest Hispanic-owned pharmacy chain in the U.S., and an MBF Healthcare portfolio company, has launched a new Mobile Health Station, aimed at improving the community’s health across South Florida by offering free health screenings and the opportunity to get various immunizations such as the flu, shingles and pneumonia vaccines at discounted rates.

Throughout the year, the Mobile Health Station will travel to different neighborhoods and participate in events throughout South Florida. People will be able to receive a variety of health services, such as free health screenings that include tests for glucose, total cholesterol, body mass index and bone density and immunizations for the flu and shingles.  Doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists and health care providers will staff Navarro’s Mobile Health Station.
