Los Angeles Kids to Learn Everyday Etiquette This National Etiquette Week

LOS ANGELES - May 12, 2014 - PRLog -- In honor of National Etiquette Week M. Shannon Etiquette Consulting in Los Angeles will hold an everyday etiquette class for kids on Saturday, March 17, 2014. The class is designed to introduce children to etiquette as well as teach children to become familiar with the proper manners that should be used on a regular basis at home, in school and in their everyday lives.

“Children need to know that there is more to etiquette and proper manners than just saying “please” and “thank you,” says Michelle Shannon, president of M. Shannon Etiquette Consulting (www.MShannonConsulting.com). The Everyday Etiquette Class will introduce children to etiquette and teach them the proper way to handle themselves when in social situations. During the Everyday Etiquette Class participants will demonstrate and practice the necessary behaviors that are required to respect themselves as well as others. The children will participate in role-playing, games and activities.

The Everyday Etiquette Class for Boys will take place at 12:00pm sharp on Saturday, May 17, 2014 and The Everyday Etiquette Class for Girls will take place at 1:30pm sharp on Saturday, May 17, 2014. The cost of the classes is $10.00 per child for each 1hour session. Participants will learn how to properly shake hands, make eye contact, polite conversation, and importance of body language, table manners and showing respect to others.

Shannon is the owner of M. Shannon Consulting, where as an etiquette consultant she helps children and adults learn proper manners.  Shannon has been teaching etiquette classes to children, adults and organizations in Los Angeles and surrounding areas for over 9 years.
