Corporate Sponsorships Announced for Cures Within Reach Bioscience Awards of the Midwest (BAM)

CHICAGO - May 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Takeda Pharmaceuticals will be the BAM 2014 presenting sponsor for the reception. Forest City Science+Technology Group is designated as a Sustaining Sponsor in recognition of its ongoing support of Cures Within Reach. Gold level support for the event is being provided by Baxter International Inc. The roster of silver sponsors includes Marathon Pharmaceuticals, Crealta Pharmaceuticals, Roundtable Healthcare Partners, Accenture, Ariad Pharmaceuticals, and Jazz Pharmaceuticals. Supporting the event at the bronze level are Perkins Coie, Healthcare Businesswomen's Association Chicago chapter, BioVectra, Inc., Edelman, and Astellas Pharma US, Inc. BAM 2014 will recognize the bioscience industry achievements of Dr. Norbert Riedel (http://www.cureswithinreach.org/2014-bam) by presenting him with the Patient Impact Legacy Award. Prominent Midwest bioscience industry leaders and philanthropists will also be in attendance to lead the fundraising initiative to help support the work of Cures Within Reach (http://www.cureswithinreach.org/), a medical research non-profit organization dedicated to improving patient quality and length of life through Rediscovery Research, repurposing approved drugs and devices for patient populations with unmet medical needs.
