Local Writer Wins National Award
Mount Vernon-based Writer Stacie Zinn Roberts, president of What’s Your Avocado?, and author of the new book “How to Live Your Passion & Fulfill Your Dreams”, was honored with a national writing award by TOCA
Roberts won a Writing Merit Award for her article “Night Moves No More”, a product information feature story that ran in the June 2013 issue of Golf Course Management magazine, the official publication of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. A total of 425 entries were received for 70 categories in this year’s competition from all over the United States, and countries as far away as Australia and Ireland.
