-- Nova Scotia, Canada – At 84 years old and ready to retire, professor Brian Lynch has had the honor of educating thousands of students and holding the Senior Research Professorship for the last twenty years. After receiving a Master of Science and a PhD from the University of Melbourne, Brian turned his interest in chemistry to the college level, inspiring college students to be more active in chemistry and the uniqueness of it.
On Monday, May 12, 2014 at 11 a.m. EST, Brian Lynch will be a guest on Spotlite Radio where he will be discussing his background in chemistry and how he was greatly influenced in high school! He went to a selective school that only accepted the top three percent of middle school graduates. During this time in high school, he decided that chemistry was something that he thoroughly enjoyed and proceeded to make himself a career in the field.

Brian is a member of the Canadian Society for Chemistry, the Royal Society of Chemistry in the UK, and the American Chemical Society.
