Follow on Google News | ![]() Short Film Against Bullying and Teen Suicide Garners Corporate Sponsorship Support"Core" ,the movie, tackles the issues of bullying and teen suicide. The short was filmed in the summer of 2013 by L and Zeke Media Group. It is the goal of the producers, for the film to tour across the country and be used as an educational tool in schools nationwide. Many local and national celebrities are lending their voice and time to the film and the community screening. The movement has also garnered corporate sponsorship from State Farm, Title Max, and Orkin. Get Connected, which hosts monthly screenings for filmmakers, has 500 seats available for Atlanta area students who are interested in screening the film. The Heal Your Core event is hosted by Emmy Award Winner Director Michelle Watson and star of OWN’s breakout reality show “Mama Got Game” Manny J. The Heal Your Core Event is for the entire community that also involves guest appearances by local celebrities and performances by recording artists Dukes of Daville, Trending Topic, Taj En’Phiniti and Prayze Factor People’s Choice Finalist Choir Boi Cam. Guest Speakers include Vicky Dee (Vicky Dee Edutainment) The campaign against bullying and teen suicide is represented by the color Teal. Arm Bands with Heal Your Core as well as a Teal Carpet will be available during the event. The cost of admission for Get Connected is $10 in which proceeds go to Peace Builders Camp.
