Follow on Google News | The Cancer Support Community MA South Shore offers Revealing Pathways to Creative Expression ProgramBy: The Cancer Support Community MA South Shore Well known South Shore Artist Laura Tryon Jennings, who holds a B.A. in Fine Arts and Advanced Graduate Studies Certificate in Expressive and Creative Arts, will be the program instructor. All supplies are provided and no previous art or creative experience is required. Please call 781-610-1490 to register. The program is free of charge. The program is designed to be relaxing, safe, supportive and encouraging and will introduce and explore an expressive process to help soothe and empower the soul. The primary focus is working with the flow of the creative process, which allows participants to connect more deeply with themselves in a unique, powerful and quiet way. Through undemanding exercises, including simple writing and easy image making participants can get in touch with their core self, recognize and re-energize their strengths and move toward wholeness, healing and well-being. About Cancer Support Community of MA South Shore The Cancer Support Community-Mass South Shore is one of the 50 affiliates, and the only one in New England, of the National Cancer Support Community, headquartered in Washington, DC. Its mission is to offer emotional support, education and hope, through professionally led programs, to people who have been impacted by cancer. All programs are offered at no cost to participants.
