Miss Asia Pacific World Singapore Announces 2014 Finals

May 9, 2014 - PRLog -- A departure from the traditional beauty queen pageants like Miss Universe or Miss World, Miss Asia Pacific World has its sights firmly set on superstars - film stars, pop icons and super models. With its unique concept of discovering and nurturing talented beauties to become future stars in the global entertainment industry, MAPW is today the world's number one superstar talent agency, with offices in the top 50 most relevant countries.

With castings held in Singapore over 14 days in the month of April, Miss Asia Pacific World Singapore has finally whittled down the contestant numbers to the final twelve.

This year’s final will be held on 15^th May at 83 (83 Club Street), where inspired drinks collide beautifully with urban art and progressive music. With its mishmash of Steampunk and Urban Free Radical influences, this urban bar gives instant cult allure and its contemporary art features as the backdrop against which the Final of the Miss Asia Pacific World Singapore contest will unfold.

Featuring the exclusive Aguaclara Collections (official Miss England swimwear for several years), the twelve finalists will don the 2014 designs, themed around the concept of an Amazonian cruise, evoking jungle and tribal influences mixed with a luxury aesthetic.

With an emphasis on both beauty and talent at this next-generation-of-beauty-pageants, there will be a special talent segment in the competition where the contestants will be given free rein to express their talents or skills and perform anything from singing to dancing to playing an instrument.

Rounding off the contest will be the Question and Answer segment where the contestants have to answer two questions each. One of the questions features the Bone Marrow Donor Programme, whose life-saving work is wholeheartedly supported by Miss Asia Pacific World Singapore.

At the Final, the ultimate winner of the Miss Asia Pacific World Singapore 2014 title will win a trip to Korea with a five-star luxury resort stay as well as the chance to represent Singapore in the international Final, held in Seoul, South Korea, home of K-pop and Korean superstardom. She will also be presented with a VM France luxury candy case worth $1500.

Subsidiary titles include the Best Body title with $1000 worth of prizes in merchandise attached to it, as well as becoming the official face of Coral Secret and also the Miss 83 title, whose winner will walk off with a magnum bottle of champagne.
