The thought behind the website came from a home based Mum, helping her own children search for safe, kids appropriate and friendly websites her children could access safely.   The daunting task of finding these appropriate websites, prompted her to provide the service herself; putting as many as possible, kids websites all in one great place, and there are plenty of them.

It has taken hundreds of hours, just to complete the research, find them, review the websites and put them all together, but finally, JustAddKidsUSA was released recently.  'Having all the children's appropriate websites uniquely in one place, provides an element of safety, knowing the children can play or learn on one safe website, rather than them searching the web constantly, and potentially coming across inappropriate content’, says Frances Collins.

Whilst there are plenty of exciting websites for kids to access, typically most children will only use 3 or 4 favorites and, perhaps this is because they do not realize how many great websites actually exist.  JustAddKidsUSA have uncovered many more interesting, educational and play websites, and the high number of them, has even surprised the 'Chief Kid' herself, as Fran Collins likes to be referred to.

Due to the sheer number of websites, they have also added a UK site, JustAddKidsUK; which also links to the USA site, providing kids with even more choice, as there are many international branded websites from UK and Europe, which will be continually added. Because of this, the website design will eventually change appearance, as JustAddKidsUK & USA grows.  They also hope to add their own branded products in the future, finances permitting.

As a number of teachers have also provided positive feedback given the number of educational websites presented on the site, it is not difficult to imagine the popularity of the website is likely to soar, giving companies every reason who have a kids product or website, to jump on board as soon as possible.  The intention is to create a one stop site, adding blogs, products to buy, with lots of other possibilities in the future.  'Our intention is to become THE preferred website for parents, teachers and kids!' adds Fran.
