The new responsive site, will tie in active social media components, featured calendar of events, economic development and business news updates, member news, visitor information, Google Maps, dynamic videos created for the site and real time links to the Southern Ocean County Chamber and WBNJ 91.9FM Weekly Radio Show LBI Region Report. 'The challenge is to distill down the key components of what visitors and businesses go to first, with over 200 unique households visiting the site daily, this high traffic site needs to consistently deliver information for every aspect" states web designer Jovan Mena. Southern Ocean County based Mena designs mobile minded, quick response sites in WordPress to capitalize organic search engine optimization.
The tourism friendly, but business minded site is part of the Economic Development tool kit the Southern Ocean Chamber has rolled out in honor of their 100th Anniversary to continue their mission to foster positive growth for the region. VisitLBIRegion.com, was created in 2008 and won a NJ Governor Tourism Award for Excellence for the comprehensive site that was designed at the dawn of the social media and mobile market."There has been many advancements in web design and how the people get their information since the first site was launched."
