Family Fun Day 2014 at SIS Kebon Jeruk

May 8, 2014 - PRLog -- SIS Kebon Jeruk celebrated Family Fun Day on 3^rd the May, 2014. More than 200 people joined in for a great day of Family Fun at SIS Kebon Jeruk.

The first Family Fun Day was a successful event organized by the SIS school.

As part of the event all the students, parents and teaching and non-teaching staffs were divided into groups, defined by 4 different colors; Red, Green, Blue and Yellow.  The School hosted a range of sporting activities for parents and students including fun events like the Egg and Spoon races, Water Challenge, Mega Musical Chair, Sack Race, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Futsal and Tug of War. The day was an effort to enrich the bonds between the family and the faculty the school.

Though the events were purely to have fun, winners were presented with badges and awards of appreciation. The Green Team, with the 34-points, stood in the first place while Yellow Team was in a close second place with 32 point. The SIS KJ Head Teacher awarded the winning team with a Family Fun Day Shield. After the events, the school held a bazaar with foods and drinks.

At the closing ceremony the Head Teacher of SIS Kebon Jeruk Mr. Craig expressed his amazement, “So many staff, family and friends came today, far more than we expected though this is exactly what we hoped for; we will make this event a regular item on our calendar as it is obviously something that draws us closer as a school community”.
