EAMCET Results 2014: Date of Declaration
EAMCET Result 2014 will be declared in the Month of June 2014. Exact Date for EAMCET Result has not been announced yet.
The EAMCET is a yearly examination that is taken by large number of engineering and medical aspirants in Andhra Pradesh. This is the entrance examination for engineering and medicine and the results are declared over 13 or 14 days every year. There are also counselling sessions for the students and this makes admission process smooth. The exam is based on multiple choice questions type and the entire question paper is objective type. In 2007, around 185,000 students took the engineering stream and around 90,000 students in the Medical and Agriculture stream. From 2009, onwards 25 % weightage is being given to 10+2 results. The rank for such entrance examinations is based on 75% EAMCET and 25% intermediate examinations. There were around 311,355 students in the engineering and 65,357 students in Medicine appeared in EAMCET 2009
The format of this has changed many times in order to make it all fair for the students. As stated above, there are multiple types of questions which mainly consist of four options. Students are supposed to mark the correct answer and mark them on the OMR sheet. There is no negative marking and also two or more or blank answers will be not be considered as valid.
There is an eligibility criterion which is important for the students to follow or abide by. The minimum pass eligibility required to appear for EAMCET are that students should pass intermediate examinations conducted by the Andhra Pradesh board of intermediate education with appropriate optional subjects or its equivalent. Candidates should also belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh and there is also particular upper age limit for the candidates who had opted for medical and engineering aspirants to take EAMCET. There is a special reservation for reserved classes, children of armed personnel, national cadet corps and also for the sports and games candidates. Adding on, 1/3rd seats are also reserved for women in each and also in each category. Ifsufficient number of women candidates are not available in the respective categories, those seats shall be diverted to the men candidates of the same category.
