Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Salute a Local Hero

DULLES, Va. - May 7, 2014 - PRLog -- What:   The Fairfax County Fire and Rescue presented the Life Saving Award to Debbie Utt, PBX Operator of the Hilton Washington Dulles Hotel.

Why:    Back in January 2014, a guest of the hotel was experiencing serious medical issues. The hotel PBX Operator, Debbie Utt, who used to be a medical triage, assisted and due to her heroic efforts, she was able to save his life in the 6-7 minutes it took for the Fairfax County Fire & Rescue to respond to the call. They told us that without Debbie’s help, the man would most likely would have not survived.

Debbie was also acknowledged by Hilton Hotels Corporation with the Spirit ofBlue Energy Award.
