Chinese Ambassador Cui Tiankai to Speak on US-China Relations at the Nixon Library

Visit Marks The Ambassador's First Visit to Orange County, California
 
YORBA LINDA, Calif. - May 6, 2014 - PRLog -- The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the United States, His Excellency Cui Tiankai, will make his first visit to Orange County and the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum on Tuesday, May 27 to honor President Nixon’s historic journey to China in 1972, and to commemorate the 35th anniversary of normalization of relations between the two nations.

Ambassador Cui will be joined at the Nixon Library by U.S. Representative Ed Royce, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and representative for the 39th District, which includes Yorba Linda and the Presidential Library.

This will be the ambassador’s first trip to Orange County. He and Representative Royce will tour the museum and speak at a luncheon with business, civic, education and government leaders in the Library’s White House East Room at 12:30 PM.

The luncheon is hosted by the Richard Nixon Foundation. All solicitations for this event are being made by the Richard Nixon Foundation and not Representative Royce.
