NurseWise Celebrates Nurses’ Week Through Launch of “My Personal Purpose” Video Series

ST. LOUIS - May 6, 2014 - PRLog -- When you think about why you do what you do, both personally and professionally, is there a quote or mantra that comes to mind? That’s what NurseWise coworkers were asked as part of the “My Personal Purpose” project. What resulted was a powerful video display of meaningful messages about hope, joy, caring for others and bright futures. NurseWise, a national provider of multilingual nurse triage and health education services, is proud to launch the video series in celebration of Nurses’ Week 2014.

“I’ve always known we have a compassionate, motivated team, and now others can see it come to life in the video through their inspiring words,” said Kimberly D. Tuck, RN, Chief Executive Officer and President of NurseWise. “The project shows that we’re connected throughout our six locations and that together, we truly can make a difference in the lives we serve and our communities as a whole.”

For the project, NurseWise coworkers wrote their valued personal belief statements on white dry-erase cards. Then they were photographed holding the cards. The photographs captured during the “My Personal Purpose” project were collected and created into a series of videos launching Monday, May 5, 2014, for NurseWise’s celebration of 2014 Nurses’ Week.

“’My Personal Purpose’ was a fun and impactful way for NurseWise co-workers to share who they are and what they stand for. The messages shared, and even the way that they held the cards, let their personalities shine through,” said Tuck. “The result of the project was far more successful than we ever imagined. NurseWise co-workers across the country shared not only their positive outlooks on life, but also their love of how they make a difference each day in the lives of their co-workers and the people we serve.”
