NH Restaurant Week Kick-off Event Announced

CONCORD, N.H. - May 2, 2014 - PRLog -- The New Hampshire Restaurant & Lodging Association (NHLRA) is pleased to announce that the kick-off event for the Third Annual Restaurant Week in New Hampshire will be held on Thursday, May 15th at The Bedford Village Inn.

This year, the event is open to the public and features the Restaurant Week Celebrity Chefs. Meet the chefs and sample some of their creations as well as cocktails prepared with Bacardi Mango Fusion and Woodford Reserve bourbon, wines from Estancia Vineyards, and beers from Woodstock Inn Station and Brewery. Restaurant Week in New Hampshire runs May 16 – 23.

The featured Celebrity Chefs are:

Nicole Barreira – T-BONES & Cactus Jack’s

Josh Farrington, White Mountain Hotel & Resort

Benjamin Knack – Bedford Village Inn

Christopher Grauwiler – 900 Degrees

Chris Volkmann – Copper Door Restaurant

Laurent Geroli – Stickney’s at Omni Mount Washington Resort

Roland Von Gunten – Common Man Family

Kevin Halligan – Laconia Local Eatery

Tickets are $35 and are available for purchase at the Bedford Village Inn, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or by calling 603.472.2001. Only 100 tickets will be sold to this exciting Restaurant Week preview event, hosted by Segway. The Bedford Village Inn is located at 2 Olde Bedford Way, Bedford, NH 03110.

The annual event is presented by The New Hampshire Liquor and Wine Outlets, Comcast Spotlight and Comcast Business.  Other event sponsors include Coca Cola of Northern New England, Woodford Reserve, Estancia, Bacardi Mango Fusion, Sysco, American Express, The Common Man Family of Restaurants, PSNH, Woodstock Inn, Centrix Bank and Checkmate Payroll.
