KAI Texas Announces Addition of Director of Architecture, Michael D. Voit

Voit’s body of work holds award-winning examples of educational facilities including the $17 million Irving ISD Lorenzo De Zavala Middle School, and the $15 million French Family Science, Math & Technology Center, a LEED Gold building for Ursuline Academy of Dallas, a Catholic college preparatory school. His work with higher education is extensive with projects completed on eight college campuses in Texas. Voit also brings a diverse facility background with projects completed for churches and municipalities.
Voit served as principal and partner of F&S Partners Incorporated, which later merged with SmithGroup, Inc, in 2009, where he was Design Principal, Studio and Practice Leader. Prior to joining KAI Texas, Voit worked with HH Architects in Dallas.
Voit holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas, and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a LEED Accredited Professional with a Building Design and Construction credential (LEED AP BD+C).
