Max A Pooch to appear at Chicago Mayfest Neighborhood Festival

CHICAGO - May 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Keith Sanderson, President/cofounder of Max A Pooch, Inc and creator and host of Max A Pooch's Awesome Animal Advocates announced today that Max A Pooch will be appearing on May 18, 2014 at the Chicago Mayfest Neighborhood Festival, The site of the festival is at Barry and Ashland Avenues in the  Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago.

The uncanny canine delights audiences by showing why he is fast earning the reputation as the Earth Therapy Dog and as the spokescanine for rescue dogs. Currently Max A Pooch and his human companion Keith Sanderson are scheduled to appear on stage at 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM on Sunday May 18th.


According to Sanderson, "Pooch earned his repuation as the black lab that turns green by doing what most people don't. He picks up plastic bottles and other litter and deposits them in trash containers."

The amazing dog also sorts recyclable and non recyclable materials. While Max A Pooch goes through his paces Sanderson talks to the audience about how we need to realizie the impact there is each time a pet, a plastic bottle or other litter is discarded. Meanwhile, Max A Pooch proves that rescue dogs are verstaile, intelligent and should be an option by anyone considering the addition of a dog to her/his household.

Pooch has appeared at events for animal shelters, recycling groups such as SWALCO, and other organizations and events. He is well known among animal advocates. He inspired Pet Life Radio show Max A Pooch's Awesome Animal Advocates. Guests have included  Cesar Milan The Dog Whisperer, the Amazing Dr. Pol and nationally and internationally known pet and animal advocates and environmentalists.

Other events on the 18th iclude The Pet Pageant and costume contest  hosted by fitness expert and creator of Pawsilates, Andrea Metcalf. Enter your pet in the pageant to compete for great prizes in the following categories: Best Costume, Best Pet/Owner Look-a-like, Best Trick, and Judges’ Choice as judged by Jay Michael from Bravo TV's hit reality show 110 Days of Summer.

The expo lasts from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm, with the pageant beginning at 12:30 pm. The expo islocated under our large tent to keep your furry friends cool and comfortable, will also feature an animal communicator, pet massages, a doggie kissing booth, adoptable animals, amazing prize packages worth more than $300, and more!
