WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - May 1, 2014 - PRLog -- MD Now Urgent Care (http://www.mymdnow.com) – South Florida’s fastest growing urgent care provider continues to expand its occupational medicine services to include Level 2 fingerprint background checks. MD Now offers finger print background checks at its Deerfield Beach (http://www.mymdnow.com/directory/locations/show/deerfield-beach-urgent-care), West Palm Beach and North Miami Beach urgent center locations, and plans to extend the service to other locations in the near future.

“MD Now is continually growing, and always looking to expand the milieu of services we provide to our corporate accounts customers – big or small,” explained Peter Lamelas, M.D., CEO of MD Now Urgent Care. “This is an incredible technology which, for a nominal fee, provides an incredible peace of mind for all job hirers – whether they are small businesses or multi-million dollar corporations.”

In the State of Florida, Level 2 Fingerprint Background checks allow employers to check both State and National criminal history databases for disqualifying offenses including arrests, warrants, and other criminal information. Governmental agencies, like the Department of Juvenile Justice, the American College Health Association, and employers who want a basic background check routinely submit their medical students, employees, and volunteers for fingerprint background checks.

Electronic fingerprinting usually takes about fifteen to twenty minutes, depending on the condition of the person’s fingertips. Employees and potential employees should come prepared with the following documents:

·      ORI Number – the Originating Agency Identification number identifies the agency requesting the background check

·      Valid government issued photo ID

·      Form of payment

“The process of taking the fingerprints is not always seamless,” warned Dr. Lamelas. “The qualities of the fingerprints taken are often dependent upon the individual who gives them. For example, a person who might naturally have “sweaty palms,” or for example, one who works in construction and has coarse and rugged hands may need to be referred out for other measures for background checks. “

That being said, the accuracy of MD Now’s fingerprint background check is almost certainly guaranteed. That’s because the acceptance of the fingerprint taken is either 100 percent or 0 percent.

When the fingerprints are submitted and accepted, the information provided by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and FBI gives a complete and accurate picture of a person’s background.
