Private Eye Helps News Anchor Locate Birth Family
Private investigator Jay Rosenzweig was instrumental in successfully reuniting morning news anchor Chris Schauble with his biological mother and the rest of his biological relatives.
LOS ANGELES - April 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Last October, Jay Rosenzweig, a private investigator who specializes in locating birth parents, received a call from KTLA Morning News in Los Angeles, asking for his help in locating the biological family of one of their anchors.
Morning Anchor Chris Schauble has gone his entire life of 44 years without knowing anything about his biological mother or father. He didn't even know his medical history. Jay agreed to help Chris and work with KTLA to locate his birth family.
The search had its ups and downs, and finally after six months, Chris was finally reunited with his biological mother and biological father's side of the family. The search updates were aired on KTLA Channel 5 in Los Angeles. The emotional journey successfully ended with the final segments shown to the viewers on April 24th and 25th on the morning news segments. The news coverage of this story resulted in over 40 people finding their birth families.
Jay says he gets hundreds of calls and emails each month from potential clients, but only takes a select amount of clients due to the lack of information pertaining to their birth parents. He states "If you don't have your non-identifying information from your adoption records, you should request that from the State. The non-id would provide you with your biological parents medical history, your birth mother and father's age, description, where they were from, circumstances of adoption and many times even more information."
