EMMP Announces a New Partner, New Office

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - April 30, 2014 - PRLog -- New York, NY – EMMP has announced the official addition of a new partner, Gillian Kaye. Kaye is a graduate of Columbia University with over 30 years of practice in organizational and community development, strategic planning, coalition and partnership building, training and facilitation, and board development. She comes to EMMP directly from the Brooklyn Community Foundation where she served as the Director of the Brooklyn Recovery Fund, developing coalitions in neighborhoods hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy. Kaye began working with EMMP in February of 2014, securing business and developing relationships while the new partnership was structured.

EMMP’s Managing Partner, Noël Kepler describes Ms. Kaye as a tremendous asset that will take the small emergency management firm to the next level. “In addition to our private sector preparedness services, EMMP has been providing community outreach services for years.” Kepler said. “Having a community development and engagement expert on staff will enable us to really create something special in the emergency and crisis management space.”

EMMP was founded in 2005 by Dr. Frank Rose, Stan Oberman and Jeremy DeLaCourt, and operated out of the Dallas Fort Worth Area of Texas. In the last 4 years the company has expanded its service area to include New York City, and administrative office in the San Francisco Bay Area, and a partnership in Toronto Canada. The firm’s product offerings include a Total Preparedness Campaign, Professional Development by EMMP, and Community Outreach.

With the addition of Kaye, EMMP is also opening a new office in Brooklyn, NY. This will be the first brick-and-mortar shop EMMP has had since closing the shop in Dallas. The new office will be located in the Brooklyn Works building in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
