COLUMBUS, Ohio - April 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Spectacular 2014 BIA Parade of Homes demonstrates home building rebound

COLUMBUS, Ohio – In what is being heralded as one of the most magnificent Parade of Homes in recent years, the Builder Industry Association (BIA) of Central Ohio is pleased to announce that this year's Parade will showcase a dozen high‐end luxury homes.  The 2014 Parade of Homes will take place July 19-Aug. 3 at the new Trail's End development, located at the intersection of Olentangy River Rd. (S.R. 315) and Home Rd. in Liberty Township, Delaware County.

"The grandeur of the homes our builders are constructing for the 2014 Parade is really a testament to a rebound in home building," said BIA Executive Director Jim Hilz. "The fact that our builders are willing to invest in homes of this caliber speaks not only to the health of our local economy, but also to the site's gorgeous topography and the quality of this neighborhood.” Hilz added that three of the homes on the 2014 Parade have already sold.

The following builders are featured at the 2014 Parade of Homes:

●         3 Pillar Homes

●         Bob Webb Homes

●         Compass Homes

●         Coppertree Homes

●         M/I Homes

●         Dani Homes

●         P & D Builders

●         Romanelli & Hughes

●         Silvestri Homes

●         Trinity Home Builders

●         Truberry Custom Homes

●         Weaver Custom Homes

With homes ranging in price from $600,000-$1 million, the 148‐home Trail’s End development in southern Delaware County is located within Olentangy School District. The development sits on 216 scenic, wooded acres perched on a plateau overlooking the Olentangy River Valley, which is designated a State Scenic River. Because the site rests atop a ridge, homes feature walkout basements and scenic views. Trail's End is being developed by The Edwards Land Company. A seasoned Parade host, Edwards Land Company has been the developer for five previous Parades.

Since 1943, the BIA has represented single‐ and multi‐family homebuilders, developers and remodelers throughout the area. The Parade of Homes has been wowing hundreds of thousands of visitors for 62 years, via its tour of new homes, featuring the latest and greatest in home design, construction, décor, and outdoor living spaces.  Each year, central Ohio's premier builders showcase their homes, offering Parade guests the opportunity to directly experience the most current trends.  BIA members will continue this tradition in this year’s Parade, working to bring even more innovation to the 2014 event’s sumptuous homes.

“We're thrilled to give our Parade guests the opportunity to walk through these stunning luxury homes and experience them firsthand," Hilz said.

Parade hours are Monday-Sunday: Noon-9 p.m.; and Sunday: Noon-6 p.m. Admission tickets are $15 at the door. Advance discount tickets will be available online. Children 12 and under are free. Parking is $2. The Parade is sponsored by America’s Floor Source, California Closets, Blendon Gardens, First Federal Lending, Hyundai, and James Hardie Building Products.
